Esterbrook Company was started by Richard Esterbrook. The first pens from this company are English made around year 1915. The company started by producing steel nibs and it went on to make pen holders, ink wells, paper clips and fountain pens. Esterbrook pens started to get famous only after their introduction in 1933 in the USA. These pens are affordable, simple yet stylish and they come in a large array of colors. The V shaped pens and the Dollar pens which were introduced by this company were quite famous.

Esterbrook is well known for its range of pen models. The J, SJ, LJ, H, and CH models are available in a multitude of colors and are available in larger and smaller, compact sizes. J is the regular size, LJ is the full sized thin pen, SJ is the slightly shorter and thinner pen, H is the purse pen without clip, and CH is the purse pen with clip. So, you can choose the model you want.

The transition model pens are available in single jeweled, rounded, or 3 ribbed button models. The most famous Dollar pens come without jewels and are single branded ones. All these models are available in a wide price range.

The Vintage Esterbrook Dollar pen is a famous one with black and chrome finish. The pen comes with a jet black body and chrome appointments. It has a Durachrome nib. It is available at a price of $35.

The Vintage 1950 Tan & Chrome Esterbrook purse pen is compact and meant for purses and it can even fit in pockets. It comes with tan body and with chrome appointments. It comes handy at a price of $30.

The Royal Blue solid color pen is a striking pen for general writing. It has the optimum length of 5 inches and it falls in the LJ category. It costs around $50-$60.
